Eudēmonia Summit Partner Spotlight | Christian Drapeau with Sean Hoess
Stem cell scientist Christian Drapeau joined Eudēmonia founder Sean Hoess for an open conversation that moves between two pictures of aging.
"There is so much more science behind stem cells, and the extent of the benefits are far beyond what you get with peptides." —Christian Drapeau
Degeneration vs. Repair
- Endogenous mobilization: releasing your own stem cells instead of injecting someone else's.
- Aging as two forces: how fast you break down, and how fast you repair.
- The three phases of stem cell function: release, circulation, signaling.
Drapeau's case starts in the bone marrow.
We are born with red marrow that makes stem cells, and it turns to fat with age. By 30, you've lost 70–75% of it. By your late thirties, only about 10% of the stem cells you had a birth still circulate. Across roughly 30 age-related conditions, those who developed the problem have roughly 50% or fewer stem cells than healthy people of the same age.
How healthy you are is directly correlated with how many stem cells you have in your bloodstream today.
