Myles Spar
Myles Spar, MD is a leader in precision and integrative medicine, dedicated to advancing personalized, evidence-informed approaches to optimizing health and preventing chronic disease. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine, he serves as Chief Medical Officer for Wonder Health, where he helps shape innovative models of personalized care that integrate lifestyle, biomarker, and systems-based medicine.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Spar completed fellowships in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and in Health Services Research at UCLA. He is on the faculty of both the Academy for Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM) and the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, where he educates clinicians on translating the latest evidence in precision, lifestyle, and integrative medicine into everyday practice.
Throughout his career, Dr. Spar has focused on expanding access to high-quality integrative care while advancing the science of personalized medicine. He founded and directed the Integrative Medicine program at Venice Family Clinic for 17 years, developed innovative models of care for underserved populations, and has advised professional sports organizations—including more than a dozen NBA teams—on performance optimization and athlete health.
A respected educator and thought leader, Dr. Spar is the immediate past Chair of the American Board of Integrative Medicine and recipient of the Bravewell Leadership Award for advancing the field of integrative medicine. He is co-editor of Integrative Men’s Health, part of the Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine series published by Oxford University Press, and author of Optimal Men’s Health. His research, teaching, and international speaking focus on precision medicine, men’s health, longevity, and the clinical application of lifestyle and integrative therapies.
