Sean Hoess
Sean Hoess is a serial entrepreneur in health & wellness events. Hoess (pronounced “Hess”) is the co-founder and co-CEO of Wanderlust Festival. Wanderlust originated the concept of the wellness festival, combining world-class yoga and meditation instruction with outdoor activities, lectures, music, and the arts. From its 2009 launch in California, Wanderlust grew to 65 annual festivals in over 20 countries, with annual attendance of up to 80,000 wellness practitioners and 8-digit annual revenue. Over the years, Wanderlust also opened five wellness event centers across the US and Canada and launched Wanderlust TV, a subscription media platform focusing on the daily practice of yoga, meditation, and actionable health and nutritional information. After driving a successful exit for Wanderlust to an Australian investor in 2023, Hoess founded Wellth Presents, which continues to produce Wanderlust-branded events in North America. Most recently, Wellth launched the health & wellness summit Eudēmonia in Palm Beach. Sean received his JD, Master’s degree, and BA from Columbia University. A 31+ year resident of Brooklyn, Sean is currently lives in New Hampshire with his wife Karina, two children, and a sausage dog.
