Alex Tarnava
Alex Tarnava is a disruptive entrepreneur, self-taught scientist, inventor, and author whose work sits at the intersection of biomedical innovation, sovereign health, and philosophical disruption. He is the inventor of the world’s only open-cup molecular hydrogen tablet—a patented delivery system that has become the most studied and widely adopted form of hydrogen therapy globally. The technology has been used in more than 25 published clinical trials and has helped catalyze a new wave of research into the therapeutic potential of molecular hydrogen.
Alex has authored or co-authored over 20 papers through peer review, and his contributions are widely cited in the field and have played a prominent role in advancing research on molecular hydrogen as a therapeutic. He is also the co-inventor—alongside Dr. Tyler LeBaron—of Inhale H₂, which launched in 2025 and is the first safe and precise hydrogen inhalation system, developed over seven years of extensive R&D.
Alex’s work on advancing research in the field of hydrogen has been recognized by the Molecular Hydrogen Institute (MHI), who invited him to become the first chairman of the MHI Research Committee—a role which Alex was honoured to accept. Alex is excited to work with the MHI and the larger hydrogen industry to shepherd research directions and initiatives in this burgeoning field.
In 2025, Alex was appointed as a strategic advisor to VeriFoods, an upcoming consumer app that empowers users to make informed choices about the foods they buy. It will test for pesticide residue, heavy metals, microplastics, and other contaminants, and will flag products that contain GMOs, seed oils, and other ingredients that consumers commonly seek to avoid or view as potentially concerning—cutting through marketing claims with independent data.
Additionally, Alex released his first book “StressHacked: How to Get Stronger in a Civilization Designed to Break You” in 2025, and will release his second book “The Stone Wall: On Power, Human Nature, and the Failures of Justice” in the summer of 2026, with his 3rd release “Manufacturing Minds: The Education Systems War on Free Thought” tentatively slated for a Q4 2026 release.
