Nabiha Saklayen
Nabiha Saklayen is a physicist-turned-founder building the manufacturing infrastructure for personalized regenerative medicine.
As CEO and co-founder of Cellino, she leads the development of Nebula™, an autonomous platform that uses lasers and AI to grow a patient’s own cells into therapies for conditions like Parkinson’s disease, heart failure, and age-related macular degeneration. It’s the first platform for manufacturing iPSCs, a patient’s own cells reprogrammed to become any tissue in the body, to receive the FDA’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology designation. Cell therapy doesn’t scale today, and until it does, personalized medicine stays out of reach for most people. Nabiha’s bet is that solving manufacturing is what turns it into infrastructure.
She holds a PhD in physics from Harvard and has raised over $96M in venture funding to build Cellino, as well as a $25M contract with ARPA-H and a clinical collaboration with Mass General. She’s a member of the National Academies Forum on Regenerative Medicine, a TED speaker, an MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35, and EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 (New England).
