Saranya Wyles
Dr. Saranya Wyles is a board-certified dermatologist, physician-scientist, and a leading global authority at the intersection of dermatology and regenerative medicine.
As an Associate Professor at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Wyles serves as the Director of the Regenerative Dermatology and Skin Longevity Laboratory and the Medical Director for the Mayo Clinic Center for Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. Driven by a mission to redefine how we age, she coined the term skinspan to describe the science of maintaining healthy, functional skin across a full lifespan. Her NIH-funded research focuses on cellular senescence (cellular aging), regenerative aesthetics, peptide therapeutics, exosomes, and 3D-bioprinted skin models.
Dr. Wyles’s groundbreaking work defining skin-specific senescence signatures has been published in leading journals such as Nature Aging and Aging Cell. She holds multiple U.S. patents in scar reduction and skin bioprinting, and her clinical insights have been featured widely in public media, including NBC’s Today show and Mayo Clinic’s Tomorrow’s Cure podcast.
