Tyler Wakstein is a results-driven community builder, business development executive, and creative director who is passionate about using the power of storytelling as a tool to drive positive social change. He is the Co-Founder of Nicer Planet, a production company that uses the power of storytelling as a catalyst for change – crafting narratives that inspire, provoke thought, and fuel a world driven by compassion. Tyler is a Co-Founder and CEO at OpenNest Holdings, a holding company that operates, advises and invests in consumer wellness companies. Prior to OpenNest, he was the Managing Curator and Head of Business Development at Summit Series. There Tyler produced hundreds of events, raised millions of dollars for non-profits, and became a master in helping people foster business relationships in an authentic way. Tyler is also an investor and advisor to a diverse portfolio of businesses, including but not limited to SpaceX, MUD\WTR, Calm, Seed, Bubble, Breathwrk, Floating, Luce Farm, 42 Birds, and Everywhere Ventures. Tyler is dedicated to using his resources and network to drive impact as a board member of The Life is Good Kids Foundation and Wholistic Research and Education Foundation. Tyler lives between Teton Valley, ID and Ojai, CA with his wife Tori and two sons Apollo and Luca.
